The new single-player “Drivers’ Journey” mode (even in basic form) hints at a deep, non-linear career. Licenses, car ownership, and economy are not yet fully active, but the UI and concept are promising.
The Early Access launch content included across various classes—from road cars to classics, hypercars, and race cars. Five circuits were available on day one, all reproduced using laser-scan technology for maximum accuracy.
The initial Early Access version launched with a modest footprint of 20 cars and 5 tracks to establish a baseline for testing. However, Kunos has steadily expanded the roster via milestone updates. The Track Roster
Kunos has a strong track record—trust the process, but don’t expect a daily driver sim until at least v0.3 or v0.5.
