A comic is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. With this in mind, CovrPrice only displays actual sales data (taken across multiple online marketplaces… not just eBay) to help you better determine the best value for your comics.
Our goal for this graph is to show overall sales trends for officially graded comics. Here we take the average for each condition and display it as a data point. To see the most recent sales data for each condition be sure to look at the individual sales data listed in the tables below.
“I sold a comic last week, why isn’t it showing up on your site?”
At CovrPrice, we capture tens of thousands of sales DAILY. It’s simply impossible for a human to determine the authenticity of every sale coming our way. (Trust us, we’ve tried) To ensure the quality of our data we error on the side of caution, valuing accuracy over quantity. We only integrate sales for comics that our robots are confident are correct. While we don’t capture 100% of every sale in the market we’re getting closer and closer to that goal. If you think we missed a sale that you want to be entered into CovrPrice just contact us at [email protected] with information about the sale and our humans will investigate and add it for you.
That’s easy, when listing your comics for sale on 3rd party marketplaces be sure you include the following: Comic Title, Issue #, Issue Year, Variant Info (usually the cover artists last name), and Grade info.
For example Captain Marvel #1 (2015) - Hughes Variant - CGC 9.8
This will help our robots better identify and sort your sales more accurately.
×In a world where body dissatisfaction and negative self-image are rampant, it's time to challenge societal norms and promote a more positive and inclusive message. By embracing body positivity and naturism, we can create a brighter, more compassionate future – one that celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of the human form.
Visit an official, regulated naturist beach or resort. These spaces have strict codes of conduct that ensure safety, respect, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
Living clothed often means constantly adjusting garments, worrying about angles, or feeling restricted. Naturism encourages presence. Individuals become highly aware of their immediate environment and physical comfort.

The concept of body positivity and naturism may seem unrelated to some, but in reality, they share a profound connection. Body positivity is about accepting and loving one's body, regardless of shape, size, or appearance. Naturism, on the other hand, is a lifestyle that involves embracing nudity and shedding the constraints of clothing. When combined, body positivity and naturism create a powerful synergy that can liberate individuals from the shackles of self-doubt and societal pressures.
Society teaches us that our bodies are objects to be looked at—projects that are never quite finished. This is where the cycle of negative self-talk begins.
The biggest fear for beginners is that everyone will stare at their flaws. In reality, naturists are notoriously respectful and mind their own business. People are there to relax, read, swim, and socialize—not to critique your body. Conclusion: A Pathway to Genuine Freedom In a world where body dissatisfaction and negative

Most first-time naturists experience a brief window of intense self-consciousness that lasts anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. However, once they realize that no one is staring, judging, or critiquing, a profound sense of relief takes over. The realization that other people are simply enjoying their day—rather than evaluating your physical form—is incredibly liberating. This breakthrough often marks the beginning of a permanently improved relationship with one's body, carrying over even when clothing is put back on. When clothed, we use fashion to hide our perceived flaws or accentuate our assets. This creates an environment of comparison. In a naturist setting—such as a dedicated beach, resort, or club—you see bodies of every conceivable shape, age, size, and level of ability.
When individuals adopt a naturist lifestyle, they often experience a profound shift in their perception of their bodies. Without the constraints of clothing, they are forced to confront their physical appearance head-on. Initially, this can be a daunting experience, especially for those who have spent years hiding behind layers of fabric. However, as they begin to accept and love their bodies, they discover a sense of freedom and liberation.
Our goal is to provide our members with the closest FMV (fair market value) for all the comics in their COVRPRICE collection. Our approach is as follows:
1) If no condition info is entered for a comic, we will show you the FMV for the most common condition of that comic.
2) If you’ve entered condition info, we will show you the FMV for that specific condition, when it’s available.
3) If that specific condition has no sale values available, we will show you the FMV for the most common condition of that comic (either raw or slabbed)
This approach helps to ensure that most of your comics have a reasonable value estimate based only on real sales data (not speculation).
The items below show how value information is displayed for raw and slabbed comics on the COVRPRICE value ribbon.
|
Indicates a raw comic with no grade info entered. In this case, we show the FMV for the most common condition. (i.e., NM $900) |
|
Indicates a raw comic with grade info entered at 9.6. Here the FMV ($1,234) is for a Raw 9.6 comic. |
|
Indicates a raw comic with no sales info available at any condition range. |
|
Indicates that the user entered a raw comic with a grade of 9.6. When there are no sales for that grade we show the FMV for the most common condition. (e.g., NM $900) |
|
Similar to the above example, when the only available FMV comes from the No Grade category, we show the word “Raw” next to the value instead of a specific category range. (e.g. RAW $900) |
|
Indicates a slabbed comic with grade info entered at 9.6. Here the FMV ($2,000) is for a CGC 9.6 comic. |
|
Indicates a slabbed comic with no sales available at any condition range. |
|
Indicates that the user entered a slabbed comic with the grade of 9.6. When there are no sales for that grade we show the FMV for the most common condition. (e.g. 8.0) |
